Rosil is a porous, spherical high quality silica for analytical use. The material is manufactured in Switzerland by Uetikon who are well known for their innovative products in the gas and liquid chromatography field. The production process of Rosil is based on the polycondensation of a silicate solution which yields a packing material with high pressure stability and excellent overall performance. The most popular C18 phase is available in two different forms with different carbon loadings. The Low Load (LL) has a carbon coverage of 10% while the High Load (HL) material is fully capped with a carbon coverage of 18%.
The surface chemistries available include: Si, C1, C8, C18 (LL or HL), Phenyl, Cyano, Amino, Diol and Ion Exchange Phases (AN and CAT).
