• Capillary GC Columns from Capital Analytical are manufactured using only the highest quality fused silica tubing and polymers used for deactivation and stationary phases. Any residual catalyst that can cause bleed is removed from the polymer; the lower polymer fragments are removed by fractionation before cross linking and then baked which further eliminates the possibility of bleed (down to less than 4pA)
  Each column is rigorously tested for retention, bleed, at 320°C, % cross linking, polarity and efficiency. These very tight test criterions are used to ensure that all GC columns meet a consistent specification from column to column. All GC columns from Capital Analytical are MS certified (where phase chemistry permits) and come with a certificate of analysis. In addition, our unique bonding procedure has extended the upper operating temperature to 370°C.
